On the occasion of the European Archaeological Days, three days will be dedicated to exploring the ancient city of Amiternum, its extraordinary cultural heritage, and the precious legacy of works preserved in the archaeological section of the National Museum of Abruzzo in L’Aquila.
From Friday, June 17th to Sunday, June 19th, the Amiternum Theatre will be open from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm with free guided tours at 10:00 am and 11:30 am.
In the afternoon—at 4:30 pm and 6:00 pm—there will be two free guided tours to explore the archaeological finds from Amiternum held at the National Museum of Abruzzo: the relief with a Funeral Procession, the relief of a gladiatorial combat, and the Amiternum Calendar, of which a new display will be presented at MuNDA in the coming months, incorporating another fragment.
