Description

The saint is depicted in a blue robe and wrapped in a red cloak richly decorated with a tangle of tree twigs and foliage called ramages. The sculpture seems to replicate a martyred saint from the parish of San Demetrio ne’ Vestini (L’Aquila), now kept in the Museo Nazionale di Palazzo Venezia.
