On July 6th, the Ministry of Culture’s “Domenica al Museo” initiative returns, offering free admission to all state cultural sites on the first Sunday of every month.
The Borgo Rivera branch of the National Museum of Abruzzo, the east bastion of the 16th-century Castle with its display of the fossilized mammoth skeleton, and the Amphitheater and Theater of the Amiternum Archaeological Park will be open to the public during the following hours:
- Borgo Rivera branch of the National Museum of Abruzzo from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm, with last admission at 7:00 pm;
- east bastion of the Castle from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, with last admission at 6:30 pm;
- Amphitheater of the Amiternum Archaeological Park from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm (free admission with separate ticket);
- Amiternum Archaeological Park Theater from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm (free admission with separate ticket).
