Index

In 2026, in addition to #domenicalmuseo (12 days a year), the Ministry of Culture has scheduled a further three dates for free admission to cultural sites: 25 April, 2 June and 4 November.
This year, on 2 June, to mark the anniversary of the birth of the Republic – when, on 2 June 1946, Italians were called to the polls to choose the form of government (monarchy or republic) and to elect the members of the Constituent Assembly – it will be possible to visit the Museo Nazionale d’Abruzzo, the Amphitheatre and the Theatre of the Parco Archeologico di Amiternum, open to the public at the following times:

  • Museo from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, with last admission at 6:00 pm;
  • Amphitheatre and Theatre of the Parco Archeologico di Amiternum from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm (admission is free but requires a separate ticket).
