The Virgin, wrapped in a red mantle and accompanied by two women, presents the naked Child to the Holy Priest on the altar, where, at the front in the lower part, an angel opens a curtain revealing a now-lost coat of arms. The church, severely damaged by the 1703 earthquake, was suppressed in 1795 and gradually absorbed into the urban fabric. It contained an ornamental decoration created by artists linked to the workshop of Saturnino Gatti of which this fresco is evidence.
