Description

“Chancel screen found in two pieces in the Church of San Giustino in Paganica (a fraction of the municipality of L’Acuila) and reassembled in 1948. On the front, a sequence of three gemmed crosses, separated by small pillars, frames symbolic animal figures.
A undulating shoot of vine leaves and bunches of grapes runs along the frame. On the back, an iscription commemorates the patrons, two priests with Lombard names, the brothers Eudo and Racteauso.”
