National Tree Day, established by the Ministry of the Environment and recognized by Article 1 of Law No. 10 of January 14, 2013, is celebrated every November 21st throughout Italy. Its aim is to promote the care and appreciation of trees and to remember the essential role of forests and urban greenery in our ecosystem.
On November 21st at 4:00 PM, the seminar “The Time of Trees” will take place at the Theatre of the Academy of Fine Arts in L’Aquila, located at Via Leonardo da Vinci 6b. Organized by the Carabinieri Regional Command, Forestry Nucleus of Abruzzo and Molise, L’Aquila, the seminar will be attended by Federica Zalabra, Director of the National Museum of Abruzzo.
During the seminar, moderated by Col. Nicolò GIORDANO, Commander of the L’Aquila Forestry Corps Group, the project “Exploring the Forest” will be presented. This artistic journey was created by students of the L’Aquila Academy of Fine Arts under the guidance of painter and illustrator Concetta FLORE.
