Starting June 1, 2025, the National Museum of Abruzzo in L’Aquila will extend the opening hours of its museums and the Amiternum Archaeological Park to the public, significantly expanding the opportunities for families, citizens, tourists, associations, and summer camps.
The MuNDA is preparing to welcome the public with a program of special openings enriched by thematic guided tours called Jubilee 2025. The Sacred Tours in the MuNDA will allow visitors to discover a different itinerary each month, inspired by the major themes of the Sacred, and to learn about the Museum’s archaeological and historical-artistic heritage. An educational project for children aged 4 to 14 is also available. Educational and recreational activities are offered by the MuNDA from Tuesday to Friday to groups, associations, and local summer camps to share and promote the treasures of the MuNDA through thematic guided tours, treasure hunts, drawings, and interactive games.
Activities and guided tours, which must be booked by email at mn-abr.servizieducativi@cultura.gov.it, are free, with admission subject to the current rates.
