During November 2024, the Mammoth of the 16th-century Castle will be open to the public every weekend, from Friday to Sunday, including November 1st and 4th.

The Castle’s east bastion will be open to the public on:

  • November 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 22nd, 23rd, 24th, 29th, and 30th from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (last admission at 5:30 pm).

On November 3rd and 4th, public admission, including to the Borgo Rivera site, will be free, respectively, for “Domenica al Museo,” an initiative of the Ministry of Culture that allows free admission to state museums and archaeological parks on the first Sunday of every month, and on National Unity Day and Armed Forces Day.

Please note:

  • The ticket for the mammoth visit is valid only on the day of purchase. It also includes admission to the Borgo Rivera site and visits to the restoration depots on November 8, 15, 22, and 29, upon reservation at this page. These visits are available at 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, 4:00, and 5:00 pm.
  • Due to the Borgo Rivera ticket office closing at 7:00 pm, visitors purchasing tickets at the Castello Cinquecentesco ticket office after 5:00 pm are not guaranteed entry to either museum.
