On August 15th, the National Museum of Abruzzo – L’Aquila will remain open to the public with its usual opening hours and access methods.
- The eastern bastion of the Castle, which houses the fossilized mammoth skeleton, will be open to the public from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm (last admission at 6:30 pm); the MuNDA headquarters on Via
- Tancredi da Pentima will be open to the public from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm (last admission at 7:00 pm).
The same opening hours will also be observed on August 16th, 17th, and 18th.
Reservations are required for groups of more than 20 people by emailing mn-abr.urp@cultura.gov.it.
The ticket is valid for a single visit to both museums on the same day.
Please note that August 15th is not a free opening.
