For the second consecutive year, during the All Around Festival, in collaboration with the Academy of Fine Arts of L’Aquila and the Fabriano Drawing Festival 2024, the National Museum of Abruzzo will host a life drawing workshop open to all, organized by the School of Decoration of the Academy of Fine Arts of L’Aquila and led by Professor Sebastiano Dammone Sessa.
Participants will have the opportunity to observe and interpret the works displayed in the Museum’s halls for two days, October 3rd and 4th, drawing them from life and without filters, and experimenting with various drawing techniques using high-quality materials. The following schedule is available:
- October 3rd, from 9:30 am to 1 pm, at the East Bastion of the 16th-century Castle
- October 4th, from 9:30 am to 1 pm, at the Borgo Rivera branch
Two special days dedicated to drawing: one dedicated to paying homage to the remains of the imposing mammoth skeleton housed in the 16th-century Castle, and the other dedicated to reproducing the masterpieces displayed in the MuNDA halls in Borgo Rivera.
The workshop is free and limited to 20 people.
