April 25: Free admission to the National Museum of Abruzzo

On April 25, 2024, the anniversary of Italy’s Liberation Day from Nazi-Fascist occupation, the National Museum of Abruzzo will be open free of charge.
In addition to #domenicalmuseo (12 days per year), the Ministry of Culture has also announced three additional dates for free admission to cultural sites in 2024: April 25, June 2, and November 4.

Opening hours for the two museums:

National Museum of Abruzzo from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm, with last admission at 7:00 pm.
East Bastion of the Castle from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, with last admission at 6:00 pm.

Free tickets can be obtained directly at the ticket office or via the Italian Museums portal at museiitaliani.it or on the Musei Italiani app, by selecting the visit options ‘Sunday at the Museum. Free admission every first sunday of the month’ and ‘Sunday at the Museum. Free admission every first sunday of the month to the Theater and Anphitheater’.
