The National Museum of Abruzzo is preparing for the partial transfer of its collections and their relocation to the rooms of the Castello cinquecentesco, the historic home of MuNDA. To allow for the movement of the artworks and for museological and museographical interventions, the Museum will be temporarily closed to the public starting November 5, 2025. This phase represents an important step in the Museum’s return to its original location, returned to the city after the earthquake thanks to restoration and reconstruction work. During this period, the Amiternum Archaeological Park will remain open to the public, open Tuesday through Sunday. Hours are available on the dedicated page of our website.
