The Castle’s eastern bastion, which houses the fossilized mammoth skeleton, will be open to the public from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with last admission at 6:00 p.m., on the following days:
January:
11 and 12; 18 and 19; 25 and 26
February:
1 and 2; 8 and 9; 15 and 16; 22 and 23
March:
1 and 2; 8 and 9; 15 and 16; 22 and 23; 29 and 30
April:
5 and 6; 12 and 13; 19, 20 (Easter) and 21 (Easter Monday); 25 (Liberation Day), 26, and 27
May:
1, 2, 3, and 4
The ticket is valid for a single visit to the eastern bastion and the National Museum of Abruzzo, located on Via Tancredi da Pentima, on the same day. The museum is open to the public during the following hours:
- Tuesday to Sunday, 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (last admission at 7:00 p.m.).
