On October 6th, the Ministry of Culture’s “Domenica al Museo” initiative returns, offering free admission to all state cultural sites every first Sunday of the month.
The Borgo Rivera branch of the National Museum of Abruzzo, the east bastion of the 16th-century castle with its display of the fossilized mammoth skeleton, and the Amiternum Archaeological Park will be open to the public during the following hours:
- Borgo Rivera branch of the National Museum of Abruzzo from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm, with last admission at 7:00 pm;
- east bastion of the castle from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, with last admission at 6:30 pm;
- The Theater and Amphitheater of the Amiternum Archaeological Park from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm (free admission).
The exhibition “Tra forma e figura” will be open to the public at the Borgo Rivera branch until December 8, 2024. Fulvio Muzi and Experimental Painting in the 1960s.
Curated by Federica Zalabra and Paolo Muzi, in collaboration with the “ArteImmagine Fulvio Muzi” Association, the exhibition pays homage to Fulvio Muzi (1915–1984) forty years after his death, presenting him as a key figure in the twentieth-century artistic and cultural landscape of Abruzzo.
