On May 5th, the Ministry of Culture’s “Domenica al Museo” initiative returns, offering free admission to all state cultural sites on the first Sunday of every month.
The Borgo Rivera branch of the National Museum of Abruzzo and the east bastion of the Castello cinquecentesco, featuring the fossilized mammoth skeleton,

will be open to the public during the following hours:

  • Borgo Rivera branch of the National Museum of Abruzzo from 8:30 am to 7:30 pm, with last admission at 7:00 pm;
  • the east bastion of the Castello cinquecentesco from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, with last admission at 6:00 pm.

Tickets

Free tickets can be obtained directly at the ticket office or via the Italian Museums portal at museiitaliani.it or on the Musei Italiani app, by selecting the visit options ‘Sunday at the Museum.
