On 3rd of May, the Ministry of Culture’s ‘Sunday at the Museum’ initiative returns, offering free entry to all state-run cultural venues on the first Sunday of every month.

Visitors will be able to visit the Museum at the sixteenth-century castle, the Amphitheatre and the Theatre of the Parco archeologico di Amiternum which will be open to the public at the following times:

  • Museum from 9.00 am to 7.00 pm, with last admission at 6.00 pm
  • Amphitheatre and Theatre of the Parco archeologico di Amiternum from 8.30 am to 1.30 pm.

Tickets

Free tickets can be obtained directly at the ticket office or via the Italian Museums portal at museiitaliani.it or on the Musei Italiani app, by selecting the visit options ‘Sunday at the Museum. Free admission every first sunday of the month’ and ‘Sunday at the Museum. Free admission every first sunday of the month to the Theater and Anphitheater’.

Accessibility

The event is accessible to people with mobility disabilities and offers adequate restrooms. All necessary safety and prevention measures will be adopted during the event to ensure the well-being of participants.
