On September 23 and 24, the National Museum of Abruzzo invites you to the European Heritage Days, this year dedicated to the educational theme “Heritage InVita.”

On Saturday, September 23, in addition to the regular opening hours from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., there will be an evening opening from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with last admission at 10:30 p.m. The cost is €1 + €1 for the heritage damaged in the Emilia-Romagna floods.

On September 24th, MuNDA will welcome visitors during its usual hours from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with regular admission fees.

From September 23rd to November 1st, the “New Acquisitions” exhibition will be open to the public. The display of five previously unseen works of art, spanning a broad chronological span from the Middle Ages to the late 19th century, acquired by the Museum between late 2022 and 2023, will offer visitors an unmissable opportunity to admire them together in the Franciscan Hall of the National Museum of Abruzzo.

The exhibition, which precedes a display that will integrate the works into the permanent exhibition, restores visibility to the historical-artistic research conducted by MuNDA over the past year, combining analytical studies with targeted acquisition strategies in accordance with a policy of increasing the collections inspired by constitutional principles.
